My name  is Camilla and I have had the prefix Miss Amazing's since 1997. I live with the dogs in the small town Sala that is located about 35 km north of Västerås in Västmanland. I breed in a small scale and have puppies from time to time.

It all started  when I wanted to get a dog, I had no particular breed in mind, I just wanted a dog.  I looked in a lot of dogbooks and for some reason I got stuck on Basenji.

I first contacted the Swedish Basenji Club and they gave me the contact information to Linea Zetterström, Mbwa's Kennel.  She had a bitch that she wanted to put on the feed and I thought this was perfect.  I was At this stage I had not seen a Basenji in reality and I believe that the breed was on the larger side. It was a bit of a shock to see that they were on the smaller side.

My first thought was "I don't want a small dog like that". This idea disappeared quite quickly when I saw the puppies and the bitch who would be mine. Ch Mbwa's Amazing Grace "Meizan" (born 1992) and became  my first dog and I have to thank Linea for giving me this little goldnugget  to care for.

I have not changed my mind, this was in 1992. Meizan was the dog that I took my first litter of.

Basenji No. 2 became Ch Yulara Fulared Friscus "Frizze" (born 1996) it was not really thinking that I would have a male. I was going to keep a bitch from the litter that I planned for Meizan. Frizze slipped in on a banana skin when he needed a new home and he became the father of my first litter. He has also become the father of 2 other litters , one at Senjisfinx kennel and one at kennel Wazin.
